5 Minute Baby Card

Holy Moly, humans! I can’t believe how fast this card went together! It was actually less than 5 minutes! And not more than 7 minutes including selecting colors and cutting the card stock! It even has green on it so we won’t get pinched today! That’s how important color is! It sure was nice that we had Balmy Blue cardstock and Granny Apple Green card stock and ribbon. Perfect match for this quick and cute card for a baby shower. All the new mom has to do is take the gift card off the front of the card and go shopping! If you don’t have all of the cardstock colors,...

Butterfly Thank You

Here’s a quick card that we made last night. I think Ann’s visit to the fabric store inspired her. Once she got started, she couldn’t quit! (It was supposed to be a sympathy card, but she said that it wasn’t coming out that way. It just gives me a homey feel. How about you? And one of the stamp sets is free! Is this not your style? We’ve got over 375 Thank You Card ideas that you can see here. Cardmaking Supplies Here’s what we used. What a beautiful handmade...

How We Finished Wednesday’s Card Idea

Human, oh, human! Today is the last day that you can get double Stampin’ Bucks in celebration of Ann’s milestone birthday, her 20th Stampaversary, and my blog’s 13th birthday. (yep! I’ve barked that long!) While we’ve been doing weekly live stamping events for more than a year now, we haven’t done a video tutorial in a little while. Since we had the hard part of the card done on Wednesday, I directed Ann in a new video on how to make the rest of the card. Don’t you just love it? I guarantee that it looks better in real life. You’ll see in the...

A Special Card for a Special Friend

I love the greetings in the Sale-a-Bration set Part of My Story. There are only a few more weeks where you can get it free for a $50 order. That’s why we used it on this card we made with Lovely Lipstick. Did you see how we added a little bling to the top left corner? Today is my favorite huMAN’s birthday. We could use the same greeting on his card too. We’d just make it more masculine and in blue. We’re offering double Stamping Bucks so I’m sure she’ll let me use anything. What stamp set should I have Ann use? Card Making Supplies Forever Lovely...

Check Your Mail Box

Have you found anything in your mailbox lately? It’s a good thing, isn’t it! We always like getting happy mail! And here’s something we sent to all our February online shoppers. (and that’s not all.) We love this greeting! But it didn’t make it in the mail until Saturday. Now, in hindsight, I wish that Ann would’ve used Blackberry Bliss with that new Story Label Punch instead of Blushing Bride. BUT I hope they’ll still like it. I even added some thing to the padded envelope: All shoppers got one of our new cool pens. Those that used the posted...

The Other Sympathy Card

Now that we’ve done a second sympathy card, I think that I’m out of my creative freeze. Does that ever happen to you? Ann’s been pretty sad since our friend passed away, but getting this second card done, I think that she’s ready to be work her creative muscle again. There is just something about this free hostess set in the back of the 2019 Occasions Catalog that makes Ann want to get out her Stampin’ Blends and start to watercolor. Stampin’ Blends really make it easy to look like a pro. And if you’re just starting out, getting Old Olive Duo and one...

Making a Best Friend Card

Do you have friends that are really more like family? If you live near your family, you may only have a few. If you don’t live near your family, I hope you have a lot of them! Here’s a simple card you could send to all of them! I’ll let you in on a little secret… The leaves were actually leftovers! We used Stampin’ Blends to color on Shimmery White Card Stock to make them. They were actually cut off of another project – I think the one we featured in this post. As we near the end of Sale-A-Bration, please be aware that things are selling out. There are...
