A Simple Sympathy Card

Today is a sad day for many people.  Ann can remember where she was on September 11, 2001.  Can you?

Since we need to make a sympathy card for one of our 24/7 Stampers team members whose husband has passed away.   She’s been a demonstrator on our team for over 11 years and we want to send her something so that she knows we’re thinking of her.

And this is the simple sympathy card that I designed for her.

Simple Sympathy CardWhile simply stated, I think it looks simply elegant as well.  It could be used for a woman or man.  Barking that, I would probably just put a strip of the Copper Trim across without a bow if we were to send this to a man.

Perhaps I’ll have Ann do an alternative look for our friends to make tonight because we rarely run ribbon so that you can see it on the inside of the card.  The Copper Trim is so elegant, I don’t mind seeing it on the inside.

And it doesn’t need to be just for a sympathy card.  You could use it for a thinking of you card idea as well.

If I had it to do again, I would probably have Ann punch the little leaves out of the bottom LEFT of the greeting instead of the bottom RIGHT to make the card more balanced.  (I think Ann’s a little off-balance anyway.  Don’t tell her I barked that.)

But I WILL bark to you what she used to make this with.
