Project Prototype for a Friend

My friend’s daughter is having her confirmation in her church soon.  She wanted to do something special for her friends so Ann is making some candy boxes for them.

She wanted white, so Ann bought some Shimmery White Card Stock.

She wanted a gold ribbon and her daughter likes red.  That’s all we had to go on.

So here’s the prototype.  I think it’s a good start, but not going to be as nice as how it ends up.

Now remember that it’s just a prototype.

They decided no initials.  They have another idea for that.  And instead of black, Ann will emboss the “God is Love” in Gold to go along with the ribbon.

Don’t you think that will be simply pretty?

It would be nicer with a bow, but this Narrow Gold Ribbon is on the retirement list and when it’s gone, it’s gone.

And gold embossing!  WOW!  (We don’t think our friend realizes that we’re going to emboss it, but gold is gold, you know.)  There’s nothing like embossed gold!

I’ll bet you’re wondering what we made it with.  Those of you who shopped with us earlier this year might recognize what we used to make this box because we sent it out to our online shoppers.  ( think that it was our December shoppers.)

NOTE:  We send a gift to all our online shoppers that use the current host shopping code (currently 3QQ39GS4).

Well, here’s what we used to make the box.  It’s on the retiring list and when it’s gone, it’s gone.
