I’m barking a quick post about this quick card.  If I had opposing thumbs, I could’ve colored it for you!

Garden Thank You Card

We had actually planned this to be a horizontal card, but once we got the greeting out, it just wanted to be standing upright!

You may have missed this stamp set in the catalog.  We almost bought it a couple times, but passed it over.  Now that we got it, I’m loving it!  It’s called Mixed Borders and you’ll find  it on page 123.

The borders are made so that there’s a space for the greeting.  And the flowers and the leaves are layered so that they line up together.

I can’t wait until we play with it again!

We just stamped the leaves in Old Olive and then smooshed the color around with a Blender Pen.  Then we did with Night of Navy and the flowers.

I just don’t think that I would have Ann put that Linen Thread on there again.  It was a bit of an afterthought.  It’s okay – especially if YOU like it.

I thought some Brights or Regals Enamel Shapes would’ve been nice – especially because they’re on sale for 25% off until Wednesday.  You get 200 shapes for just $6.75!
