Did you get to make some cards this weekend to celebrate World Cardmaking Day?  Yes?  Great!

Is your answer “No”?  Well, here’s a little secret….

Try some of the Stampin’ Up! kits!

There are lots of them on page 152-155 of the Stampin’ Up! catalog.  They’ve even got them in the front of the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog.  (Don’t even THINK about the Witching Hat because it’s sold out.)

We actually bought the Watercolor Wishes Card Kit a couple weeks ago for the stamps.  But now that we’ve made a couple cards, we’re going to make lots of these.

Watercolor Wishes Thank You Card

In one box, you get a set of Stampin’ Up! photopolymer stamps and enough supplies to make 20 unique cards with envelopes.

And you don’t have to make them exactly how they suggest.

If you look at Ann’s card and the one in the picture (bottom row, 2nd from left), you’ll notice that they’re not exactly the same.

They’re close, but not exactly the same….and that’s okay.

But we WOULD RECOMMEND that you make sure you have enough of everything before you change it up too much.  You’ll have stuff left over, but you don’t want to end up with mismatched items that won’t work together.

And if you have never tried our photopolymer or clear mount stamps, this could be perfect!  The kit includes an appropriate sized block to work with the stamp set.  It’s not our same high quality block with the curved edges, but perfect for when you’re giving a gift to a firs time stamper.

There are Stampin’ Dimensionals inside, but you might want to give them some Glue Dots and SNAIL to make it even easier.  this would be a perfect combo if you were giving it to a beginning stamper.

Suggested Gift for the Beginning Crafter

How cool would that be to have a stack of cards ready to address and mail at a moments notice?   Or maybe just have the box there and select, stamp & send as you need them.  (That’s more our style.)

Thank you for reading my barks.  It means so much to me to know that you’re there.
