I was going to call this “Which Do You Prefer”, but framing is what this post is all about.
I loved the original version of this card (that you can see in this post), but Ann & I agreed that it needed just a little bit more. (I love when she listens to my barks.) So this is what we did with it.

Now, we COULD have made this with a blue spatter so that it looks like ink, but Ann likes Real Red. My favorite huMAN likes anything blue. And ANY blue will do – even Tempting Turquoise!

I really prefer the black-framed version. It really focuses your attention on the message.
I’m always a fan of highlighting so I prefer the framed version.
I like the framed version better, but the simple card is nice and quick and simple.
The second card just pops! Makes you realize what black or darker color cardstock can do to highlight certain areas of your cards. Thanks for a reason to get french fries tomorrow! Love reading the special day list each week. Thanks for sharing!
The narrower very vanilla and the black layer make this card pop. I really like it.
