Whenever I think of New Orleans, I don’t think of Mardi Gras like many people. Instead, I think of the story that Ann told me about how special she felt when Kirkland met her at the airport with this sign. Ann had a ball going to dinner and sharing secrets with Kirkland. Even though they’d never met face to face, it was as if they had been friends forever!
