How to Reink Your Stampin’ Up! Ink Pads

We should have called this another Unmentionable Video becasue many people don’t know really how to re-ink their ink pads. And they’re not reinking them enough!

Ann normally doesn’t wait this long to reink my ink pads.  I don’t know how this Basic Black one got so dry!  The firm foam pads don’t hold as much ink and honestly?  I think they put MORE ink on your project – which is a very good thing.

So here’s our quick tutorial on how to reink your Stampin’ UP! ink pads.

View the video on You Tube here.

And if you’ve got some old reinkers around, PLEASE DO NOT USE OLD REINKERS (back when we had linen pads)  on firm foam pads in these colors because the colors have been slightly reformulated:

  • Basic Black
  • Basic Gray
  • Marina Mist
  • Perfect Plum
  • Tempting Turquoise

All other colors should be fine.

Honestly?  That’s why I think the Basic Black ink pad in the video looks so funky!

It’s a great time to be the blog dog of a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.

We read & appreciate your comments! They make great bedtime stories for Ann to read to me!

  1. Dear Stamper and Ann,
I love your blog! I appreciate all the hard work you put into every card, video, class, etc. I have a great demo who happens to be one of my closest friends here in the rural outskirts of Cincinnati. I don’t always comment on blogs, but please don’t think I don’t care. You are both wonderful! In fact, I have a 14 year old shepherd type dog that we rescued from the dog pound when she was just a tiny puppy. She has very long hair and her tongue has characteristics of chow. She occasionally keeps me company in my stamping room. Keep up the good work, Stamper. Be a good watch dog for when Ann and favorite huMan aren’t home! My Mocha says “Ruff”– she is a very good watch dog! Bye! Nancy B

    • Thanks so much, Nancy!
