We've been concentrating on givng my favorite huMAN a nice long celebration of his birthday this year. He does lots of nice things for Ann & me so we want to make sure he knows he's appreciated. Ann planned a little something different and special each day starting with a trip to opening night at the movies last Friday for Oz, the Great and Powerful.
Today is the actual day and since he has to work, it will end a bit anticlimactic. But he will be happy just the same.
Today's card is one of the birthday cards we made for him. You might think that there's no room for flowers on a guy's card, but I beg to differ. His favorite color is blue so he'll appreciate the Midnight Muse and Bashful Blue color combo. And besides – poppies are the California state flower!
I wonder if he'll notice the Shimmery White Card Stock we used for the greeting.
