Did you participate in Black Friday?  We did!  And our Black Friday specials are still going on!  We'll be sharing the video soon of the winner of this Barking Board.  We're giving away double entries for the Barking Board until Monday night.  What's so cool about that?  Because it's a new board, we put your name across the top rows – where the majority of the winners are!

And don't forget that you'll get some free instructions too!  Find out more here about our Black Friday Appreciaton special.  All you have to do is go shopping with Ann & take advantage of all the Stampin' Up! specials!  20-50% off & free shipping!  Plus Ann's free project instructions & extra chances to win a $100 gift certificate?  What's not to like!?!

My Thanksgiving Present

So how was your Turkey Day?  I bought my favorite humans a Fat Free Turkey Fryer.  It was in the 50's here in Northern Californai.  Cold, but not as cold as many other places.  Just cold for us.  Here I am overseeing this new healthy way to cook a turkey – even though they wouldn't give me any!

2010-Thanksgiving-TurkeyThe cylinder is heated by propane gas & cooks the turkey with infrared heat.  It takes about 10 minutes a pound.  Since you don't have to preheat it, it cooks even faster than a deep fryer, but with no oil!

They put a big onion in the neck.  Human, what are you thinking?  I can't eat that either!

I'm just glad that my favorite humans don't eat dogs because this machine will cook lots more than just turkeys.

2010-Thanksgiving

My favorite guy came home just in time to remove the bird for me.  That bird weighed a little more than I do, so I thought it best.

This went much better than our trial run of my cooking pot last week.  That's another story.  Just know that these cookers don't work so well when it's windy.

In any case, they left me home & stole my bird to take it to their Thanksgiving celebration across the street.  I can't believe it!  When they got there, Mario & Terry got the knife out & divided my bird up with everyone!  None for me OR the dogs that live there!

I can't believe it!  So much for the giving part of Thanksgiving!

I'll be back tomorrow with a cool card for you – probably one from yesterday's Last Ring in Your Jingle class.

Hope you had a blessed weekend.  It's back to work tomorrow!  and the next time you have questions about cooking a turkey, be sure to check out the website Is It Done Yet?
