Blue Valentine

Do you ever start off to make one card and you end up making another?  We started off wanting to make 2 specific technique cards for our Master Stamper members, but I insisted that she make a masculine Valentine card for my favorite huMAN. Ann & I share the same favorite color:  anything RED.  And not any red.  Has to be a blue red like Real Red or Cherry Cobbler.  But my favorite huMAN likes blue. Color Coach to the rescue!  Maybe this isn’t a true blue, but we hope Tempting Turquoise will rock his world.  It’s a bright, fun Valentine that will take the chill out of the...

Quick & Easy Valentine Card

In case you were born last night and learned how to read this morning, it’s Valentine’s Day tomorrow! Do you have your cards made?  Do you have your dinner or movie plans? Valentine’s Day isn’t just about your sweetie.  Have you made a card for a friend?  Here’s one that we did at Stamp Club the other night that was inspired by our friend Patty.  We needed a quick card to round out the night and this was it.  (I shared another card they did in yesterday’s post.) Ann & my favorite huMAN already started celebrating Valentine’s Day early by doing...

Can You Spot the Valentine Heart?

Can You Spot the Valentine Heart?

Can you spot the Valentine heart on this postcard Valentine card?  We’ve hidden it really well.  Since we dogs are so good at hiding bones, I gave Ann a few tips on how to hide this heart. I can tell you it’s not obvious.  And I can tell you that it might help that you scroll down to our pictures of what we used.  At least then you know what to look for because TODAY is the last day you can get it! And you can’t get the LOVE banner and banner punch until tomorrow.  And they’ll be free!  Ann has a live online event our newsletter subscribers have been invited to where...

Valentine Card for a Shoe Loving Friend

Do you have a friend who loves shoes?  I mean LOVES shoes?  Some girls just LOVE SHOES!!  You know who you are!  Janet!  Robin!  Karen!  And those girls just get giddy over a shoe card! And isn’t that the reaction you just want to get when you make someone a card? It’s easy to make the card match the person.  You can match the subject.  Like if they like roses, you can put roses on the front.  (or shoes!)  If they like blue, then you can make the card blue.  And if they like both, you can make a card with blue roses!  Now, where you could buy a card with blue roses!?! And it...

Last Chance Sneak Peek Valentine Card

Have you decided what kind of Valentine card you’re going to make your sweetie for Valentine’s Day?  Have you made it and stashed it away already?  I think my favorite huMAN is going to love this card that Ann made him.  It’s not just the outside, but she finished off the inside just like in the card we showed yesterday. Well, not the SAME, but she finished off the inside in both of them.  (And the inside of this one is going to be FREE!) The Flowerfull stamp is just $9.95 and only available until MONDAY!  That’s right!  You can see all our Stampin’ Up! Specials...

Masculine Greeting Card

Masculine Greeting Card

If this is a masculine greeting card, where’s the greeting?  Yep.  I can hear it now! That’s the beauty of this card!  You can make a few of them and leave them in a safe place.  Then add a greeting as you need it.  We originally thought of it as a Valentine Card, but there’s room down at the bottom left to make it a thank you card, a birthday card, or even a get well card.  Teeny Tiny Wishes and a Word Window Punch would be great for that. You could even add a few rhinestones or pearls and give it to your favorite sailor girl!  But there a two little additions that really...

Valentine Grunge

Most of you know that it’s a bit difficult for a dog to stay pretty when he sponges a card.  The ink can get all over my mouth if I’m not careful.  So I don’t sponge a lot.  But this one needed a bit of sponging to help show off the Scallops Embossing Folder from the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Seasonal Catalog. I think this card could be used for a guy, don’t you?  We purposely left the Gold Sequin Trim a little straggly just so we could use some bling on a masculine card.   And would you believe that we used the same Perfect Pennant stamp set and Banners Framelits...

Pink Handmade Valentine Card

I’ve been wanting Ann to run that big Ampersand Embossing Folder through our Big Shot!  My buddy Gail was over here wondering how we’d use it.  Well, here’s one of the ways! But before you look at it, just know that I barked that Ann should’ve used those Vintage Faceted Buttons that are on sale starting today in the Weekly Deal.  We just don’t know where she put them last!  They have a place, but they’re not IN that place. And to think she’s doing an online chat soon on organizing your craft room!  (Probably because she’s organized and...

Learn 4 Ways How to Stamp on Fabric

Have you ever stamped on fabric?  We used to do it back in the day when Stampin’ Up! made pigment inks they called Craft Ink Pads. I was just a pup then. Ann has been working with those cool Mini Muslin Bags that were introduced in the Holiday Seasonal Catalog. They’re so popular that they’re now featured on page 36 of the new Stampin’ Up!  Occasions Seasonal Catalog – or at least until they’re sold out.  She took the limited edition Flowerfull heart stamp that is only available until Monday, 1/27, and came up with 4 ways to stamp on fabric for an online...
