Thank YOU on Thanksgiving

Thank YOU on Thanksgiving

You humans tickle me this time of year!  Ann was on the go from 8am to past 8pm yesterday and almost NONE of it involved ink and paper!  She took me for a ride to Sacramento and just missed the worst of the traffic.  I was sitting up in the front seat of my favorite huMAN’s truck.  While I got a nice view, it’s much harder to get my nose to the edge of the open window.  Still, I was a very good dog and enjoyed getting out. So here’s a nice Thanksgiving card to all of you to tell you thank you for reading this dog’s barks.  Thank you for your emails, your nice comments...

Fantastic Fall Card Video

Everyone has an opinion!   Some like the first version of this fantastic fall card that we posted Monday.  (click for close up look.) And some of you like the different version that we  posted yesterday. They’re both fairly similar so this video that I directed will have Ann show you how it’s done.  All of the information is shown below the video.  If you have additional questions or comments, feel free to leave a comment below – especially if you’re going to mention how good I look at the end of the video. Watch it on You Tube The Details Cherry Cobbler Card Stock: ...

Thanksgiving Table Favor

Thanksgiving Table Favor

It’s not too early to plan for your Thanksgiving table.  This would be great with a little after diner mint in it.  Or perhaps a name?  Or a little tag to write what you’re thankful for? They made this last night at the Yuba City Stamp Club.  And NO ONE would give me any chocolate!  (Good thing.  Chocolate is NOT for dogs!  Remember that. They used the Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit to make the band around the pocket, but you could use the Sweater Weather DSP.  Then you would have lots of Designer Series Paper to use for your cards a scrap books. Maybe you’re not...

Good as Gold

I snuck into our stamp room and found Ann working on something special for the Master Stampers.  It started as one thing but we couldn’t find the rose mold.  She said she’d seen it recently.  I hope she doesn’t think I chewed it up. So – this is what she was working on.  It’s probably a redo of a technique, but she’d never done it before.  Those Master Stampers are going to like learning this one.  She should have it posted tomorrow or Monday. How do YOU like it?  You can learn it and find out more here at the Master Stamper.  I’ll just tell you that...

Thanksgiving Card

It’s not your every day color combo for a Thanksgiving card, but it sure made our phone ring!  We are getting more calls and emails about this cool card that Doodles and I helped design for our clients who purchased from us last month. What do you think of this Rich Razzleberry, Very Vanilla and Pumpkin Pie combo?  If it’s a bit strong for you, you could still make it with something a little more subtle. Maybe you should pin this fo our Pin It To Win It Contest!  Here’s some of what we used: Gently Falling Tags 4 You Wood Bundle Big Shot Machine Woodgrain Embossing Folder...

Fast Forward to Fall

School has either started or getting ready to!  All the kidlets will be gone to get smarter soon.  You know, I have a couple graduation certificates myself! Have you told your friends how smart I am?  Have them stop by so they can decide for themselves.  I love new friends! Today’s card has a bit of Fall flair.  Just in time for school and before the leaves start falling.  You may already have the Gently Falling stamp set.  If you don’t, you should get it! Here are a few cool things that Ann used in this Pear Pizzazz; Crushed Curry; Pumpkin Pie & Baked Brown Sugar card:...

Thanksgiving from Old to New

Oh what fun it was to have a little online get together with some of my favorite Master Stamper friends.  We even had a new one there for her first time.  She joined and minutes later, she came to the webinar.  I tried to get Ann’s attention and tell her about our new friend, but  where Ann was so busy sharing the latest stuff from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog, that I couldn’t distract her.  So hola, Monica and anyone else we missed yesterday. It was fun! Do you remember this video that we shared with you last winter during Sale-A-Bration?  You might want to watch it to...

Video By Request

Posted by on Nov 17, 2011

You requested a video so we will humbly comply!  Last week, you LOVED the Emerging Color Video, but everyone wanted to know how we got those curved ends on the greeting!  Far be it from me to ignore your requests!  I'm worse than the BBQ Beans Dog because I forced Ann to spill it in this week's video! Now, you really will have to tell us if you can tell any difference in where we're shooting.  For one thing, you'll notice no shadows from the windows!  But halfway through the video, Ann stood closer to the camera & you can hear her...

Ann is Nuts!

Posted by on Oct 26, 2011

In this dog's point of view, this card should have never left the table.  Like – how much texture is too much texture?  Ann just would not stop! She told me that she was determined to make a card with those sample pieces from yesterday's video.  But crime-MAN-ee!  She just kept piling it on!  Switching color combos.  Cutting flowers.  In this close up, you'll see where she actually LIKED only partially cutting the flower out! Then she colored in all the background from the Stampin' Up! Creative Elements stamp set.  And...
