Goodbye Chalk Inks and Paper!

Goodbye Chalk Inks and Paper!

It’s a very busy time around Central Bark these days. All the travel laundry is put away and I’ve settled in my bed.

And not only are there lots of good things on the Stampin’ Up Retired Lists, but there’s a bunch of nice stuff in the Occasions catalog that’s not coming back.

And the Chalk Inks and the Chalkboard Paper are not going to be here when next month rolls around. DARN!

Hello, Goodbye!

Hello, Goodbye!

There are some stamp sets that I just hate to see go. Especially when I like the way the font looks or I can envision lots of things to do with it.

I’m really going to miss this one because the state flower of California is the California Poppy. It looks a lot like these – except for the color.

And with rubber stamping, we can change the color if we want.

Quick & Cute Thank You Card

We’re going to make this one quick and cute – like me – because Ann & I are studying the new Stampin’ Up! catalog that Stampin’ Up! released online to the demonstrators this morning.

We were so excited that didn’t even go to bed!

I think that we may have found what color

One of a Kind Card for a Man’s Man

Do you know someone who’s a man’s man? What IS that?

Ann tells me that there are some men that can fix anything. And one of my biggest fans has a husband who can do just that.

Turns out that Mike has a birthday this week so I put Ann to work right away. That way she wouldn’t be rushing what should be a work of art. (She’s pretty good under pressure depending on the situation.)

PLUS – some of this stuff is on sale while supplies last so if you like it, get it today!

Can You Use a Left Handed Card?

Have you ever made a left handed card? Ann did once before and last night she made her second one.

She was cruising right along, following my instructions. Everything was going fine.

She had 2 handmade roses. One was a prototype. And one was just about perfect from our live online class yesterday.

Mitzi’s Happy Birthday Mojo

Let the birthday games begin! Ann’s favorite daughter is celebrating her birthday today! And we got this stamp set out just in time!

(If you follow me on Instagram or if you are my Facebook fan, you know I wasn’t coming out until the stamps came!)

She doesn’t live here so we scurried off to the post office to pay more for priority postage than a handmade card costs to get it there close to on time.

I think it’s worth it because this card is so bright and cheery, I might go blind!

Nacho Average Anniversary

Today is a special day. My favorite huMAN has been married to Ann for 33 years.

Can you believe it? I’ve only been around for 9. We are both so lucky that he keeps showing up!

If you’ve been reading my barks for any time at all, you know that my favorite huMAN’s favorite color is blue. He’s not picky. He likes all the blues.

So we made him an Island Indigo card with…

How to Make a Pac Man Card Video

That Pac Man card I had Ann make last week was so popular that we thought you’d like to learn to make it along with us with a video.

Was I right?

Ann has some fond memories playing with this little yellow guy. It was WAY before my time and I’m sure not quite as much fun as playing with a Jack Russell Terrier like me.
