Dec 12 2007 The phone's ringing off the hook because everyone wants to know about how you make Santa Claus take his hat off to pull out some popcorn!  I just do it the easy way by clicking on the picture!  :-)

After Ann gets her 11th idea for the 12 weeks of Christmas to my newsletter pals, I'll get behind the camera and direct her for some type of tutorial.  Just swoop back here soon & check out my directorial debut.  Wait!  This won't be my first movie.  I've directed her before.  She's easy to work with.

I'm pulling her away from the keyboard now so I can nap until she's ready.

Dec 11 2007 Have you seen my Christmas card tree?  Because Ann knows how much I love stamps & paper, she decorated it special just for me!  I think you'll like it when you take a look in the Art Gallery

I'm glad I hung out by the TV on Friday.  Ann showed her new scrapbook page with me in it!  I think that Guy & Kristin were VERY impressed and probably want ME to come on the show & share some of my stampin'.  I'd have to talk to my agent first.  You'd be able to see the scrapbook better, but I stamped my copyright over it in the picture on the left.

Ann had a wonderful time and even threw a party for me for guarding the house while she was gone.  The stamper girls came over and fawned all over me.  You KNOW that totally makes my day!  They all left smiling so I think they had a good time too.  Ann even gave away a $100 gift certificate to Jen Rietz from the Fall into Fun Board!  Now we're kickin' off the Winter Wonderland board.  Don't miss out!

Be sure to stock up on your favorite accessories & stamps before they're gone!  The stamps are available until New Year's Eve, but once the accessories are gone, they're gone.  Just email Ann & she'll hook you up.  She always does!

Dec 7 2007 Welcome Viewers!
Hope you had a good time watching Ann on TV.  I know I did!

Welcome to my website!  If you liked what you saw on the show today (& I'm sure you did), take a look at the Art Gallery for more than 300 MORE ideas!

If you would like instructions or purchase supplies for something that Ann shared with you today, please shoot me an email and I'll make that happen.

If you'd like to obtain the supplies to make cards, scrapbook or make cool gifty ideas yourself, Ann will be happy to help you as I'm still waiting for her to retrofit the keyboard so that I can use it.  You can call her at (530) 674-5090 or email her.

Ann does a bi-monthly online newsletter that you can sign up for at the top left of this page.  If you'd like to know more about Ann and what she does, I'm sure she'll be happy to tell you, but in the meantime, you can see a bite -er - bit of what others say here.

So welcome!  Hope you come back again soon!

Dec 2 2007 I'm so totally blown away!  The retirement list is out (see links on right) and the new Preview Mini just arrived!  Yowzah!  I'm in rubber heaven!  Please call Ann at (530) 674-5090 or email her if you don't see your Preview Mini soon.

I'm also amazed at those of you who took a chance on the Crystal Ball Contest.  There's a tie for first place.  Ann was going to let whomever got their predictions in first be the winner, but I have the feeling that she's got something special for the person who lost the tiebreaker.  I'm sure we've got some dog bones to share around here somewhere.

The challenge was to predict 12 retiring stamp SETS (not wheels) between pages 49 -162.  Here's a list of the winners in order (actually, they're ALL winners just for trying!):

RANK NAME RANK NAME
1 Mary Hansen - 7 8 Cynthia Groom - 3
  Geri Forbes - 7   Anna Walker - 3
3 Marisa Flores - 5   Jayne Kroh - 3
  Deni Larrigan - 5 11 Gail Kunsman - 2
5 Amanda Kossow - 4 12 Maribeth Higbee - 1
  Sandy Narrayan - 4 13 Yoli Norman - 0
  Deb Rasmussen - 4

There were 8 towns represented from 3 different states.  Most popular correct guesses were Figures of Speech, Stinkin' Cute, Heart Speak & Farm Fever.  Stampin' experience doesn't factor into this because one the two people that tied for 1st place is a former demonstrator and the other one has stamped less than 6 months.  Go figure!

Thanks for playing.  If part of my brain fell out when I was blown away causing me to miss something, please email my secretary who will correct the rankings.

Nov 20 2007 How could they!?!  Ann & the girls were having a good time without me!  They were making Fast & Fabulous Christmas Cards in Sacramento!  If you missed it, Ann will let you have a make-up session in the comfort of your own home.  You'll get everything you need to make the 12 cards they did.  You can get details here.

Holy Triptych, Stamp Man!  While she was there, she took some pictures of the cards they had done in between their stamp club meetings.  I stole a look.  Good job, ladies!  This is just a close of one of them.  Click on it & take a look at the newest additions to the art gallery to see more.

Just gotta love the fun you all have stampin'.  As soon as I get some thumbs installed, I'm going to go stamp WITH them!

Don't miss out on the Crystal Ball contest!  All you have to do is pick 12 retiring stamp sets (not wheels) between pages 49 & 162 of the Fall-Winter Collection Catalog.  Have the most correct & you'll get a free stamp set from Ann's collection of retiring stamps (List released 12/1 - see it here first).  Get all 12 right & get the stamp set AND a free Spring/Summer Collection Catalog in January!  Woo hoo!

Be sure to email your predictions by 8am Pacific Time Thanksgiving morning.  Good luck!

Nov 16 2007 Things are poppin' around here!  Ann's been stampin' a lot with her friends.  I'm just sitting around waiting for the cardstock to fall of the table so that I can keep the floor clean.  Well, at least keep the bits of cardstock, stamps & markers off the floor.  So where have YOU been?

She's going to try something new for those of you who don't have time to stamp or live too far away to come to the classes.  Her first offering is for those of you who want to send homemade cards but don't have all the stamps & colors to get them all out.  You'll get the stamped & punched cardstock along with the directions to assemble your cards!

All you have to do is get your SNAIL® adhesive out and assemble your cards!  Everything else is provided.  A little trim with your scissors here & there and you're done!

Gotta love that!  I oversee all stamping and punching to insure that what you receive is something you'll be proud to send.  Just check it out here & you'll even get a small "Hand Stamped by" stamp to put on the back!  (I'll never tell that you didn't do ALL the steps!)

Just bark if you need me!

Nov 12 2007 Happy Day after Veterans Day!  I snoozed at the feet of my favorite veteran yesterday.  We snored away our Sunday afternoon together.

I had to take a break!  All those girls were over here Saturday sprinkling glitter on me!  I even took some out to the back yard!  Just click on the picture to see a close up of that sparkly stuff!  We all had a ball & it's all Barb's fault for inspiring Ann to use all those Dazzling Diamonds!

Don't miss out on the next event!  There are more of you coming over this week.  Can't wait!  And then there's the Santa event on December 8th where you get to come over & you get to show me how much you appreciate me.  Ann thinks it's the other way around - that she's going to show you how much she appreciates YOU - we'll have to talk more about that.

There's also some super secret specials coming up on Black Friday, so don't miss out on those either.  Oops.  Don't think I was supposed to say anything about that.  You won't tell, will you?

     Chow Baby!       Stamper

Nov 8 2007 Can you believe it?  It's November & there's one last flower in the yard.  It's right where I like to dig and .... don't tell Ann .... bury my stamps.  This way I won't forget how to find them!  I hope they'll be safe.

What won't keep until Spring is the cool stuff in the Winter Catalog.  It's time for the Crystal Ball Contest!  I'm giving you extra time to check out YOUR crystal ball and email me to tell me which 12 sets that you think will retire in less than two months!  Pick anything between page 49 & 162.  If you have the most right, you'll get first pick of Ann's retiring sets.  If you get them all right, you'll get TWO of her sets!

All entries must be received by 8am Pacific Time Thanksgiving morning.  If I'm smelling turkey, then you're too late.

And be sure to fill out your Wish List & send it to Ann by November 15th!

Hope you had a happy Halloween.  Those of you who dropped by last night got a pre-November scoop with the picture on the right.  That's right!  Stampin' Up! has a special on the Double Sided Designer Paper!  Buy 3 & get one free!  Gotta love that!  Those of you on the newsletter list already found out this morning.  (Don't you just love that cool project she sent out? )  I hope Ann buys lots cuz I love the way it tastes.  Want some paper for yourself?  Talk to Ann cuz I'm not allowed to answer the phone....unless Chloe calls.

Don't forget to check out the 20% off special shown in my October 27th post below.  That's only good for two more days.  More fun as the saga continues.

Oct 21 2007 Yesterday was my namesake's birthday.  You didn't know I was named after someone, did ya!  Ann's dad used to say that if he had to come back to Earth, that he'd want to come back as Ann's dog.  He figured that my predecessor had a pretty good life.  So now, Ann's dad is gone & I have his same adorable personality.  Hence, my full name is Stamper Howard.  And I'm a lucky dog for that!

I've been chatting to Ann how she's got to get those Founder's Circle pictures up.  (Contrary to popular belief, I don't do ALL the work around here - but I do bark the verbiage).  She's finally done it!  Still pictures, slides, videos!  You name it!  You won't want to miss a thing!  You can go directly to it HERE or through a link in the Art Gallery.  Make sure you see that Colorado River Raft trip.  Oh, and the rubber stamp manufacturing plant they have at Kanab with the deluxe accommodations they've prepared for my next visit.  And be sure to check out all the stampers I can't wait to meet - just like YOU!

P.S.  Be sure to vote for me in the World's Naughtiest Dog contest.  I  apologize that you have to log in, but if you appreciate dogs, you'll really love Dogster.com.

Oct 18 2007 Just when I thought I'd done it all, I've been entered in the Naughtiest Dog Contest.   Click on the cartoon link at the right to give me a 5 paw vote!   This isn't the picture, but there is a real cute one that you can vote on.

Ann took this picture after I greeted her when she returned from Portland.  She puts me in Doggy Daycare where I'm normally very, very good.  This time, I reopened a little scratch in my ear that I'd received 5 days earlier when zooming up & down the fence with the Big Jack next door named Snoopy.  (I may be a Little Jack but I'm so fast, it's hard to catch me.)

Don't I look a sight?  I was walking around like a broken dog with this "hat" on.  Ann released me from my bandage before everyone came over for Stampin' Bunko so I didn't scare anyone.  Actually, my regular perky personality came back to life as soon as the bandages were removed.  Ann tried to get it back on, but it was too late.

Honestly!  It's only an 1/8" slice on the tip!  Come stamp with me soon.  I promise I'll be good.

Oct 10 2007 Hurry, hurry, hurry.  What's a Jack Russell to do?  Ann's zipping around here getting things ready for the girls to come over & stamp.

While she was getting all her stuff out, I snuck over to the computer and put some new stuff in the Art Gallery.  There's new stuff in the scrapbooking area.  You know how she likes to carry those little books around!  I even put up pictures of the cool stuff the gals did at the World Card Making Day!

And then there's Stampin' Bunko this weekend.  Even if you've never played that before, you've got to get in now while there's still room!  Free stamps all around!  Woo hoo!  And remember to bring me a treat!

Be sure to join my....er Ann's.....newsletter list & get ideas every week until Christmas.  Just roll up to the top left of this page & jump on it!

Oct 7 2007 Oh what a fun time we had at World Card Making Day!  Thank you to Deni for helping us out.  I like her a lot cuz she always talks to me & makes me feel important.

Ann greeted stampers at the door with no eye make up and no lipstick and told them she forgot.  Many humans joke about it, but the facts aren't fun as Ann explained later.

I was so glad that everyone came & helped raise $100 for Alzheimer's Research.  You can find out a LOT about how it affects so many at www.alz.org

As you can see, I'm guarding the Fall Into Fun board in the picture and making sure that everything is just right so that one of you can win a $100 gift certificate!.   So now....let's go stamp some fun!

Sept 28 2007 I've got a new friend who realizes just how wonderful I am!  Patsy Waggoner came to Yuba City, CA from Minnesota just to see me!  She's so cute I let her take a picture with Ann in my back yard.  I was too busy running up & down the fence behind them to get in the picture.  And besides...there were no stamps involved!

She even brought me some cool Christmas cards.  They had their heads together so much that I think they were planning on how they were going to get together in the Bahamas next Spring without me!

They had more than a whirlwind visit.  They had a HURRICANE visit!  Ann was so excited that she was running around like a Jack Russell!  (wonder where she got that from!)  After their 40 minute visit, Ann went on her way to stamp with her Sacramento stamp club friends and give away a $100 gift certificate to some lucky stamper from Elk Grove, CA.  Here's a quick video you can see.

I can see why Ann loves this Stampin' Up! job so much.  She's got stampin' friends EVERYWHERE....and me!

Sept 26 2007 I am just so excited!  I so wish I was there last night!  Ann came home with this cool video to show me how they drew the winner of the 2nd Stampin' Summer Splendor $100 Gift Certificate!

It happened just last night and it's already here!   CHECK THIS OUT!  It's just like you're there!  Now remember...this is my first chance to edit video & so please let me know how I did.  My little paws can only do so much.  It's just a little 40 second video.

I'm off to clean for tonight's Giftables class.  Don't think it'll pass the white glove inspection, but luckily you stampers don't seem to mind.  :-)

Sept 24 2007 YOU'LL WANT TO READ THIS!  It's been quiet around here!  Ann was gone with the top Stampin' Up!® demonstrators from Canada & the U.S. on a retreat to Lake Powell, Arizona.  Cecil & I finally had some quiet time.  She's back now & asking me to share lots of samples and photos from her trip... especially when she went down the Colorado River on a float boat.  She said I couldn't go because the water never gets above 48 degrees.  She's got that right!  No swimming for me!  I don't even swim in our pool!  But I sure would've liked to go see where those cool stamps are made in Kanab, Utah.  She said it was really cool, but she didn't bring me home any rubber to chew on!  I could apply for the janitor's job there and REALLY be helpful!

They gave her lots of gifts.  They played Bingo & lots of games on the bus between Phoenix and Lake Powell.  She had fun getting that chair on the plane, but it made it here in one piece.  They sold the sofa to get room for it (or was there another piece of furniture in the plans?  Don't remember.)

I'll be posting a bunch more pictures over the next 7-10 days in between helping her decide on cool projects for her workshops, clubs & classes.

I promise I didn't chew up this cool tag!  Shelli Gardner made one of these for everyone on the trip.  Ann's going to buy some Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon to finish it off per Shelli's instructions.  Personally, I like it just as it is!  It's Ann's most prized gift.

Sept 17 2007 Come play with me & help those whose rememberer is broken.  Ann & I are celebrating World Cardmaking Day on October 6th and donating a portion of the proceeds to The Alzheimer's Association.  We'll be doing Fast & Fabulous Holiday cards.  Our goal is to get you out in two hours, but if you're having too much fun, we won't kick you out until I go to bed.

Alzheimer's has affected many families, including ours.  Please come and stamp some fun!  The festivities begin at 1pm on Saturday, October 6th.  Bring a friend for more fun.  You can register here.

You can see a list of all the times you can stamp with Ann by clicking on her calendar above.  Be sure you get your name on the list!

Sept 13 2007 What a great time we had last night.  All those ladies coming over & stamping with me!  I multitasked under the table & made sure they kept their hands stampin' while I chewed my "N-Bone".  They made 25 cards for Ann & Cecil's church.  You can see close-ups of  two cards that in the gallery.

Today, however, was a different story.  Work up this morning with a "N-Bone" fragment in my teeth and a bit too much plastic in my tummy.  Believe me.  Ann buys me nothing but the best, but the vet says no more "N-Bone" for me.  After this is over, I'll be lucky to sit down for a week!

Be sure to register now for World Cardmaking Day at our house on October 6th!  You'll be making Fast & Fabulous Holiday cards and some of the proceeds will benefit The Alzheimer's Association.

P.S.  Thank you to those of you who inquired about my health today.  Ann's got a close eye over me as I convalesce.  I really had her worried!  Of course, she took advantage of my passion for modeling & took this shot of me with last night's cards using her new camera.  Normally, they never would've made it to the second camera click before I personalized them!

I'm so glad that I have Ann to watch out for me.  I don't think I would've made it through these first two years without her.  Come stamp with me soon before I get into any more trouble!

Sept 9 2007 What a fun day we had yesterday.  I missed my favorite kisser, Stephanie, but I got a cool card from my new stampin' puppy friends, Maizie & Rascal in Texas.  They even sent me their pictures that I'll share with you soon.

The winner of my Birthday Blog Candy was someone who was right here making Christmas Cards at the class yesterday!  Mary Hansen of Live Oak was the lucky winner of a set of Ice Circle Rhinestone Brads!  Mary's a real jewel too and seems to have a calming influence on me.  Don't miss out on the next Christmas Card class coming when we celebrate World Card Making Day on October 6th!

Congratulations, Mary and thank you to ALL of you who sent me cards and email greetings for my 2nd birthday.  I know I am all very special to you just like you are to me.  I'm off to learn more tricks!

Sept 6 2007 The party's over, but the fun's not done.  September 2nd was a real celebration & I'm resting up for the cool class seeing my best stampin' friends on Saturday.

There's still time to get a chance on that blog candy  that Ann has for you.  Just email me a birthday greeting for one chance.  Send me a handmade card with Stampin' Up! products & you'll get FIVE chances!  What's the blog bones....er blog candy?  FREE RHINESTONE BRADS of your choice!  Deadline is tomorrow night at 8pm because she's drawing the winner at Saturday's Get a Jump on Your Jingle class.

Remember that the Stampin' Up! Fall Frenzy Special that they dedicated to me for my birthday goes on ALL of my birthday month!

I'm overseeing some cool things Ann's hiding in the treat jar just for you.  In the meantime, check out some of the new training videos & tip sheets in the Stamper's Friends area.  The password is in the last newsletter.  You can get the next one by checking out the top left of this page.

Sept 1 2007 Bow WowWowWow Yippee Yo Yippee YAY!

Tomorrow's my 2nd birthday! I'm sure that I'm going to get a stamp set of my own and a lamb or beef liver pate' cake!  Yum!  Yum!  One can only hope!

In honor of my birthday, Stampin' Up!® is offering SIX stamp sets for 30% off when you spend $30!  They even named the special after me!  FALL FRENZY!  They're offering it for whole month of September, but I think that the early puppy gets the bone so don't delay.

THEN.....Ann is pulling out ALL the stops and offering some blog candy for my special day!  Email me a birthday greeting & you'll get a chance to win some Rhinestone Brads of your choice!

We're even starting Puppy Training on the Stamper's Friends part of the site which is reserved for Ann's VIP customers.

If you're on her newsletter list & you decide to mail me a birthday card at the address shown at the bottom of the newsletter, then you can get FIVE chances for those Rhinestone Brads!

She's ALSO offering 20% off any stamps that have animals in them when you submit your order by 8pm Pacific time.  First one on my list is Yappy Day!  I think that one cute dog stamp looks like me!

2007

Aren't these purdy?  Smelled good too!  The big peachy one came from Stampin' Up! and I told Cecil to buy Ann the other one.

Ann has been stampin' her arm off since she came back from convention!  Hope you like the new art posted in the Art Gallery last night.  There's more where that came from!

That nice Martha Armstrong sent me this cool neckerchief.  She must've known how dapper I would look in it!  Ann told me about meeting Martha before.  She's from North Carolina where Cecil's from.  Guess they must grow some pretty nice people there who know how to coordinate!

Thanks again, Martha!  I think I'll wear it the next time I hit Starbucks!

P.S.  Some of you people have been saying some pretty nice stuff about Ann lately.  I'm starting a book called Testimonials.  It's a quick read done in PowerPoint.  If you don't know her already, you'll know her better after the 30 seconds it takes you to read it.  She may be #68 out of 50,000 U.S. Demonstrators with Stampin' Up!, but she's #1 with me.....and should be with you too!

Some of you have been wondering how I'm doing.  I am more than fine!  My foot is all healed from that heavy unescorted shopping spree in the new catalog last month.  Paper cuts!  OUCH!

Have you ever thought about joining my family of 24/7 Stampers?  Ann THINKS they're HER team, but she's mistaken.  MY team is da bomb!  They love to stamp & most of them love me like a brother.....or at least as well as they love their favorite stamp.   I'm a bit high energy for Jessica though.

If you've thought about it before, now's the time when you can PICK YOUR FAMILY!  Your color family AND your stampin' family!  Ann & Stampin' Up! are going to give you a $57.95 set of 12 ink pads in the color family of your choice when you decide to join the 24/7 Stampers' team.  Even though I can't count that high on my front paws, believe me when I say that your life will be more joyful with me in it!  (and Stampin' Up! too, of course!)

Contact Ann today.  You can bring your questions to play "Stump the Demonstrator" and see if a stamp in your hand could be in your future.  I think you'd look good on my team!

And if you'd like to see my life in a few pics, I have a quick version of my life in picture in my blog archive.

Ann Just returned from a wild time at the Stampin' Up! convention in Denver.  She told me about this huge bear that even tried to attend!  Good thing for that bear that I wasn't there to defend her.

As soon as she gets all her ducks in a row, she'll be posting some pictures.  All she talks about is Cheesecake Factory, Ryan Shupe & the Rubber Band, thunder, lightning & rain....and lotsa fun swappin' & stampin'!

Just wait until you see the new neckerchief that Martha Armstrong made me!  I look just like an official Stampin' Up! Demonstrator! Sure is good to have her home.

I am HEALED!  My personal photographer is pretty busy right now.  She gives her stampin' friends special attention & puts me on the back burner.  She had all her favorite hostesses over for some stampin' & pamperin'.  Check out that ice cream cake!  Man, was that cool!  But no chocolate for dogs, I'm afraid.  She'll be putting the recipe in my Stamper's Friends area soon.

THEN....check out this happy stamper's face!  That's my buddy Sheryl (& Helen behind her) who picked out some pretty cool stampin' prizes just for being a lucky stamper (much like me).  She selected two stamp sets:  Pick-A-Petal & Lovely as a Tree & my personal favorite, the Crop-A-Dile.

If you'd like to have cool stuff like this happen to you, just sign up for Ann's newsletter and see what good stuff can happen!

July 13, 2007

I started celebrating Friday the 13th a little too early and ended up with a pretty deep paper cut in between my first & second toe on my right front paw.  You know.....my page turning paw.  OUCH!  I was just trying to get a peek at all the cool stuff in the new catalog while Ann was gone.

So here I am resting up in my carrier with my new Blue Tooth/Satellite dish combo.  I'll be tuning in to all of the best craft shows for the next two weeks with this get up.  The vet tech suggested that Ann stamp it for me.  I think that's a pretty good idea!

At least it gave me a chance to meet the latest vet at the office.  I can tell Dr. Troxel thinks I'm the cat's - okay - the Big Dog's pajamas.  I selected a cool card off the Stampin' UP!® Demonstrator Website to inspire Ann.  Here's the card I'll give Dr. T at our next visit on Monday.

How Stampin' Mist© Saved My Life

It was quite a day yesterday.  Full moon out, you know.  I think that makes me kind of edgy.  Ann was in her office working.  I thought I'd help and got out a black roller ball pen.  It wasn't one of those nice Stampin' UP® markers.  Just a roller ball pen.

I swear that I took the cap off carefully.  I don't know why she was so upset.  I was trying to write some personal thoughts for my blog, but it just didn't work really well on the new beige carpet.  I could get an 8" x 1/2" strip down, but I don't think that anyone could read my notes!  THEN I tried to bend that pen to my will.  Just about 10 minutes of good chewing time should've done it.

I don't know how that other quarter sized spot got on the carpet.  I was adjusting the pen to write better when Ann came out of nowhere & swooped me away from my mission!  I was able to get a silver dollar sized spot of black ink down where I was last adjusting the pen.  That pool of ink got into the carpet pretty deep.

It happened so quick I almost saw my life flash before me.  Out the door I went and then stood on the patio step peering through the screen door.   Good thing she's against animal cruelty.  Ann was even talking to herself when she grabbed the Stampin' Mist© and started working with it, a damp rag & paper towels.  By the time Cecil came home in the afternoon, he couldn't even tell that I had been working!  She wants to take ALL the credit for the work when I was just trying to help!  I spent the rest of the day in bed saving my energy for July 1st.

Ann told me I was lucky that Stampin' Mist© worked so well.  It even took the ink off the sliding door jam.  I just hope it never comes back or I could be guarding her stamp collection from outside!  Until then, I'm reading the new Fall/Winter Collection.  Got yours yet?

The man in brown came today.  The boxes were heavy.  Ann screeched as she pulled out a big book from one of the boxes.  She was jumping up & down & disturbing my sleep.  Now she has her nose so covered up by that thing that a dog can't get a decent meal around here!

Next time I see that man in brown, I just may have to have a little dog to man chat with him.  I mean a BIG dog to man chat.
