Watercolor Leaves Fall Card

Isn’t it awesome? I love those leaves! We’ve had it and not used it yet! It’s from the Colorful Seasons Bundle.

And just in case you like it a LOT, we’re still giving away 12 project tutorials using the Colorful Seasons Bundle exclusively with colors that are featured in the Color Theory Paper Stack. That’s IN ADDITION TO the 4 project tutorials we give all our online shoppers.

Watercolor Leaves Fall Card

Who would you send this to?

Well, there are lots of moms that are getting their kids back to school this week here in Northern California. Ann told me that she wonders whatever happened to kids going back to school in September!

When do your kids go back to school? (And by kids, I mean you kids, your grandkids, nieces and nephews, neighbor kids or even some kids that you bumped into at Target.) We’re not fussy.

Watercolor Leaves Fall CardWe’ll have a little time to share a bit about this card when we do some livestreaming with our Master Stampers on Saturday. They can either watch our Facebook Live session. OR those that don’t belong to Facebook can register for our live version.

I can’t believe that our Master Stamper program is coming up on their SIXTH anniversary! We’re going to change out our video soon because we’ve got over 210 videos and almost all of them come with written project instructions! (It says something like 100.)

Guess it’s time to tune up!

We love our Master Stampers! And we’d love YOU to be a part of it too!

Then she bought more stamps (that got here yesterday).

Then last night, she stayed up until the wee, wee hours ordering accessories for the two of us to ponder for the Sweet Treat offer coming up!

Yes, we like to double check and make sure that it’s as awesome as we expect.

Soon, we’ll be sharing all that cool stuff so you can agree that it’s just perfect for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas AND New Years.

But while you’re waiting, here’s a video preview of all the Designer Series Papers.

Ann used to do these for the Master Stampers and 24/7 Stampers. This time, Stampin’ Up! did it for her! If you’re seeing this in your email, you can click here to enjoy them.

Now, for those of you who are fairly new to my barks, you should know that Ann and I offer a sampling of all the Designer Series Paper and accessories in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog for you to enjoy. We’ll be sharing that in the the coming week.

But I’ll warn you that it’s going to be so affordable!

We only do a limited offering so that we can concentrate on making cards and all the other exciting stuff we have in store for you.

If you’ve shopped with us recently, you can look forward to getting your Holiday Catalog in your mailbox in the next 10 days or so. If you’re just starting to shop with us like Sally did yesterday, we’ll pop one in the mail to you ourselves.

We’ve got all these card ideas for you to ponder while you’re waiting for your mail (don’t get lost with all that looking!):

They’ve still got some of the good stuff over at the Stampin’ Up! Clearance Rack! But don’t wait too long! Yesterday was pretty busy around here!

All our online shopping guests get a handmade reusable card in their mailbox AND at least 4 free project tutorials in their inbox.

Remember to use our current shopping code CZJYCWXF when you’re visiting our online store so that we can give you even more:

 • Sampling of current product

Here are a couple things I think Ann should stock up on – especially because they’d look good on Christmas cards:

And while some of these holidays are a long time away, you don’t even need the coordinating stamp sets to get good use out of these Big Shot deals! (And there are more in the Clearance Rack.

We hope she – and you – like this one as much as the others because it features the Carols of Christmas bundle which really has traditional fonts, images and dies.

You know this bundle will be officially released on September 1st, but when you buy it now, Ann will throw in 4 exclusive project tutorials that are centered around this bundle.

And so far, everyone loves them!

Rich Non Traditional Christmas Card

She even stamped on the inside using one of those little border stamps at the top and the bottom.

So…..do you like it? I asked her to use Copper, but once she pulled out the Gold, she just kept going.

Gold was the first color she picked out and built it from there. And it was built mainly from scraps that just happened to be hanging around the table.

This is exactly the order they made it to the card. (The little reindeer was an afterthought.)

Rich Non Traditional Christmas Card

Rich Non Traditional Christmas Card

Isn’t it cool how the Card Front Builder Framelits make the moon and stars into the card? If you changed the greeting, you could use it for the next lunar eclipse!

Barking about an eclipse, are you going to see the solar one coming next week? I understand that pets start to get ready for bed when the solar eclipse happens. Ann had a couple cats the last time one rolled around, but she didn’t notice any freaky behavior.

If you’re in one of the 14 states, it would be worth keeping an eye out on your pets.

Card Making Supplies

You know, I always assume that since this dog has a Big Shot, that everyone has a Big Shot. And if you don’t, you should.

Just barking here.

We want to make sure you know that all our online shopping guests get a handmade reusable card in their mailbox AND at least 4 free project tutorials in their inbox – PLUS the ones that go with the Carols of Christmas bundle.

Remember to use our current shopping code CZJYCWXF when you’re visiting our online store so that we can give you even more:

A friend of ours has liver cancer. He’s already had one round with some special chemotherapy.

It didn’t work as well as we would’ve liked so he’s going to go in for another round.

Liver Cancer Ribbon Card

I’m glad we bought the bundle that our friend, Patty, helped design so that we could make a special card for him.

And when we Googled “liver cancer ribbon”, we found out that emerald green was the right color.

Good thing we have lots of Emerald Envy ink, cardstock and ribbon on hand so we could just whip up something nice for him.

Liver Cancer Ribbon Card

We hope this will encourage him to slow down and give his body a chance to heal. We have 65 more get well card ideas here.

Here is the stamp set and framelits you may want to keep on hand or at least add to your wish list in case you ever have a friend or loved one that is getting rid of cancer.

Remember that you save 10% when you bundle the stamp set and framelits together.

 • Red and green
 • Blue and silver
 • Blue and green

What’s your favorite color combination? We’ve even used purple!

But we’ve never made a Christmas card like this one!

Sunset Christmas Card

I think we sometimes forget that there are people in this world that are celebrating Christmas in warmer climates:

 • Florida
 • Southern California
 • Australia
 • New Zealand
 • Hawaii

I’m sure there are more warm places at Christmas. Those are just a few.

But this card isn’t just for Christmas. We were actually thinking for the families of those people who lost their lives at Charlottesville yesterday.

We understand that people disagree on several things, but that doesn’t mean that people have to die.

On a Lighter Note

The Carols of Christmas stamp set, framelits and bundle are going to be in the Holiday Catalog that starts on September 1st. (If you’ve shopped with us in the last 18 months, you’ll get one.)

It’s happened to everyone. Well, except one of those peeps that you don’t hang around with much because they know EVERYTHING.

I digress.

Ann’s got a dear friend who’s dear elderly mom is living with her – and has been for some time. Everything’s fine, but it’s hard when your body and/or mind aren’t what they used to be.

Ann told me that it can be a bit overwhelming.

Everyone has a day when they could use some encouragement. We’re hoping she’ll be encouraged by this card.

And if not by the card, by what she’s going to write inside.

Card for a Friend in Need

At least we hope she’ll feel the love we were feeling when we were making it.

I’m sure we have more friends that could use some encouragement.

But not a lot went right when she made this. I can’t leave her on her own much, you know. Good thing I left the camera on so that we can teach our Master Stampers what NOT to do!

Card for a Friend in Need

We made the card with the Colorful Seasons Bundle. We have a dozen project tutorials to share with those of you who put this in your shopping cart. That’s in addition to the 4 project tutorials that ALL our online shoppers get.

Save 10% when you bundle Colorful Seasons

Psst! Ann cut that Adirondack chair with my Big Shot and used the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack. That’s a grrrreat stack that will never go out of style. Perfect for anything you need a wood look. AND they don’t attach all the papers in the stacks anymore. I love that!

It’s hard to pull papers off when you don’t have opposing thumbs!

Now on a better note….

A special little reminder to our Texas Stampers – You don’t have to be a student to get many of your stampin’ supplies tax-free this weekend!

And since my gal pal, Doodles, lives in Texas, I’m offering all our Texas shoppers DOUBLE STAMPING BUCKS this weekend! Print your form out here so you can track your purchase.

StamperDog http://stamperdog.com <![CDATA[Oh, Human, I Love This Look!]]> http://www.stamperdog.com/?p=14043 2017-08-10T11:09:23Z 2017-08-10T11:31:30Z Way back to a time just before I came to live with Ann, Ann did her first presentation at a big Stampin’ Up! event in Reno, Nevada. It’s only 2 hours away, but there were over 300 people there!

She traveled over the mountains and spent the night with some of her first 24/7 Stampers and some dear Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator friends. They even upgraded her room to a suite with a sunken tub!

What an exciting weekend!

No water in the tub, of course.

When Ann did her presentation, she shared a technique that a friend of hers in Texas had told her about. It was the first time she presented on a stage for such a large crowd and the first time that she met now Stampin’ Up! Board President and Co-Founder, Shelli Gardner. (She was the CEO back then, but she’s still involved as her daughter Sara Douglass is now doing her mom proud as the CEO.)

You can click either of these pictures for a close up.

SECRET: That thing around her neck is a surgeon’s mask. She wore it as she was coming out on stage as she had asked Shelli to introduce her as Dr. Clemmer. (I wonder what Shelli was thinking would come next!)

She had to be very careful taking the mask off because she had one of those – what I call – a Janet Jackson headset and mic on her cheek.

And here is the card I had her make this year using that technique. The original presentation was in October 2004, a year before I was born! Everything old is new again!

I hope you think it’s pin-worthy.

Magic Snowflake Card

But good stuff never gets old. That’s what I keep telling myself!

This is just one of the 4 projects that you’ll receive instructions for when you purchase the Carols of Christmas bundle. Those of you who are Master Stampers will also get a video so you can see Ann as she shows you how to make that gorgeous background.

Already a Master Stamper member? You can check this project out here.

Magic Snowflake Card

But I can share with you the two stamp sets that we used for this. And here’s what’s REALLY SPECIAL!

 • All of our online shoppers receive 4 project tutorials to download and call your own.
 • AND, of course, a handmade reusable card as a thank you for shopping with us.
 • (Use our current shopping code and we’ll throw in a small gift of current product with your card. Currently: CZJYCWXF)
 • Purchase the Colorful Season Bundle and we’ll send you 12 project tutorials that use ONLY the items & colors in that bundle.
 • Purchase the Carols of Christmas Bundle (in wood OR clear mount) and we’ll add at least 4 additional project tutorials using the Carols of Christmas stamp set and coordinating framelits.

At the end of the night, Ann likes to ask what project they liked the best. They made a little coffee treat 3-D project, the card I shared in this post and the card I’m sharing here today.

Copper Birthday Card

Which do you think that they picked?

Before you decide, I have to bark that it’s hard for Ann to take a good picture of a card with Copper Foil Sheets on it.

But I think you get the gist of it because it really looks good with the Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper.

If you guessed this fast and easy to make card was their favorite, you’d be right.

Copper Birthday Card

And if you’re thinking that almost everyone added Whole Lot of Lovely DSP to their order, you’d be right! The only ones who didn’t get some, already had it in their collection!

We almost put ribbon on the card, but thought that it might detract from the beauty of the Designer Series Paper.

It only took minutes to make and everyone chose it as their favorite!

Card Making Tips

 • Be sure to add the Designer Series Paper to the Basic Black BEFORE you attach the black piece to the folded card base to make it easier to get it straight.
 • You’ll get a smoother cut on foil sheets if you cover the foil sheet with waxed paper before placing the thinlet die on the Copper Foil Sheet and run it through the Big Shot

And you might think that this stamp set is only for Christmas cards.

Think again!

Check this out!

Simple Thank You CardYou like? It sure does make me smile! (especially when I show you the greeting inside.)

I think I may have found an addition to one of our latest favorite color combinations:

 • Emerald Envy
 • Dapper Denim
 • Bermuda Bay
 • Berry Burst
 • Whisper White

We’re even sharing how we stamped the inside using the same set as we used for the greeting on the front (AND for yesterday’s card too):

Simple Thank You Card

Color is SO important, don’t you agree?

The inside and the outside of the card coordinate and use stamps from the Carols of Christmas stamp set. It all just flows!

Simple Thank You CardDo you notice the little rhinestones? This dog loves a little bling so I only put them on the Dapper Denim flowers so that they’d pop!

And the new Emerald Envy Crinkled Seam Binding is so light! It won’t add to the weight of the card.

Simple Thank You Card

I swear that I didn’t sleep on that ribbon! It came that way!

Now about that Carols of Christmas stamp set. You can get it in a bundle with the coordinating thinlets (but we didn’t use them today). You can get it next month, but if you buy it THIS month, we’ve got EIGHT project tutorials we’ll include! (4 various ones and 4 dedicated to the Carols of Christmas stamp set.)
