Goodbye Chalk Inks and Paper!

Goodbye Chalk Inks and Paper!

It’s a very busy time around Central Bark these days. All the travel laundry is put away and I’ve settled in my bed.

And not only are there lots of good things on the Stampin’ Up Retired Lists, but there’s a bunch of nice stuff in the Occasions catalog that’s not coming back.

And the Chalk Inks and the Chalkboard Paper are not going to be here when next month rolls around. DARN!

Send an Encouraging Handmade Card Today

I hope that you like the card our April clients should have received last week (or a little before). Yesterday Ann got to feel good about getting a handmade card in the mail too!

Yes, it’s nice to give and it’s nice to receive an encouraging handmade card.

White and Breezy Birthday Card

Who knew that folding a piece of Whisper White card stock could turn into such a beautiful little card.

When Ann started as a demonstrator, that’s the only way she knew how to make a card. Just fold the card stock in half and stamp.

But it didn’t look like this!

It’s a Happy Birthday Card!

Now that my typist, card maker and chief flunkie is back, let’s make a birthday card!

And this birthday card is made with Ann’s favorite color – Real Red!

See where the flowers are on the Designer Series Paper? If you turn it over, there’s an angled pattern which would make the same card look more like a masculine birthday card.

Blackberry Thank You

Blackberry Thank You

I know that Ann has even put a video on my Facebook Page to say thank you. Now it’s my turn to bark thank you.

She’s home and I’m thankful!

She’s got a little sunny glow and she’s so happy that she didn’t get sunburned like the first two times she went to Waikiki as a young adult. That can be painful!

So we picked the swap card she got in Hawaii from Cynthia in Canada to share today.

Hello, Goodbye!

Hello, Goodbye!

There are some stamp sets that I just hate to see go. Especially when I like the way the font looks or I can envision lots of things to do with it.

I’m really going to miss this one because the state flower of California is the California Poppy. It looks a lot like these – except for the color.

And with rubber stamping, we can change the color if we want.

Do You Know How Much I Love You?

We love this job because otherwise, Ann never would’ve met me.

We love this job because we never would’ve met you either!

So I’m sharing this quick card with you with a warning that the Big on You stamp set isn’t going to be in the new catalog. It’s perfect for a quick card to tell someone how you feel.

Did You See American Sniper?

Did You See American Sniper?

Did you see the movie “American Sniper”? Ann & my favorite huMAN did. They said it was really good but it had a sad ending.

We watched 20/20 last night on ABC and after watching that, we just had to make a patriotic card. With Memorial Day later this month, a military thank you card would be great.

You could give it to a veteran or perhaps …
