Do You Love Butterflies?

I can’t think of a human, feline or canine that doesn’t like butterflies.

You can be the first if you’d like!

But in the meantime, we came up with this quick and cute butterfly card for a friend.  It’s fast and fleeting because the punches, the washi tape and the stamp set are all things that I’m going to hate to bark farewell.

Butterfly Card for a Friend

We hadn’t planned on the Gold Foil Paper until we figured out that it would be nicer to have a strip of it peeking out on the butterfly.

We were going to put three different pieces of the Pop of Pink Washi Tape, but two was enough – especially with the strip of gold peeking through.

I know this surely would bring a smile to Ann’s face if someone sent it to her.

Do you like fast and fabulous cards?  Or do you prefer to spend lots of time creating your masterpiece?  We’d love to know!

And doesn’t pink, white, black and gold make a statement?  YUM!  Perhaps we’ll have to earmark this for our May stamp club project.

You know, we’re giving away a set of Floral Affection Affection Embossing Folders to some lucky commenter.

Yep.  All you’ve got to do is leave a comment and you’re in the draw.

If you’re in the mood to make this card, here’s a picture list of what we used.

Remember to use our current shopping code JCPKNN7G when you’re visiting our online store so that we can include a surprise sampling of one of the current Stampin’ Up! accessories in the reusable card that we send all our online shoppers. Don’t use the code if your order is $150+ so you can enjoy Stampin’ Rewards. We’ll still send you the gift and reusable card.

  1. Stamper, I’m so glad I have these punches and I use them a lot. I think I’ll make a version of this card this afternoon. I really like it. I like to make quick cards but I like some more complex ones too for special people and special events.

    • They’re perfect alone or with the coordinating Papillon set. By the way, I corrected the picture of the prize. I think some computer gremlin switched the picture last night when Ann blinked!
