A Get Well Card That Gives Twice

It’s Tax Day and Ann’s still not well!  Or maybe that has something to do with why she has a sinus infection!

So I have been putting my paws to work to make her a get well card.  I have no opposing thumbs so it has to be an easy handmade card idea.

Or is that an easy PAWmade card idea!  In fact, we have over 60 get well card ideas shared here.

Get Well Card Idea

This would make a pretty nice guy card – even with the Metallic Enamel Shapes on it!  We could put more for a gal, but because these are smoother and aren’t so “blingy” as rhinestones (which are sold out), they work well for a guy card.

Our front room and kitchen area are painted in Tip Top Taupe that I used on this card.  We had the paint color matched at Home Depot and we just love it!  Every time we shop for anything (like a couch or pillows or carpets), we take a piece of Tip Top Taupe with us so that things will coordinate.

This practice really helps when we changed the kitchen and living room into one room.  Ann took a half sheet of Tip Top Taupe with her to the carpet store, the countertop store and put it to use with all the changes they made!  It really makes it a lot easier!

Ann will just hold this card and like it, but I’m sure she’ll send it to her friend who’s down with a bad back.

But what makes this a truly great card is that whenever we sell one, Stampin’ Up! makes a donation to Ronald McDonald House Charity.  We like it a lot because it has stamps for several occasions.  It’s going away when the catalog ends, but this one is certainly a keeper!

If you have a catalog, you can find it inside the back cover.

You can hand cut any of these shapes, but this dog got out his Big Shot and the Umbrella Weather Framelits.

Remember to use our current shopping code JCPKNN7G when you’re visiting our online store so that we can include a surprise sampling of one of the current Stampin’ Up! accessories in the reusable card that we send all our online shoppers. Don’t use the code if your order is $150+ so you can enjoy Stampin’ Rewards. We’ll still send you the gift and reusable card.

What a great handmade card idea!

We read & appreciate your comments! They make great bedtime stories for Ann to read to me!

  1. Stamper, that card, as is, would be suitable for either a man or a woman. The metallic enamel “raindrops” are perfect…GOOD JOB!
Ann, sorry to hear about the sinus infection, I can relate to that as I’ve had them, too. “Take care and be well soon. You are in my thoughts and prayers.”

  2. Love the simplicity and the color combo. You rock it even when you aren’t feeling well.
