I’m a Sucker for Collage

Yep, I’m a sucker for stamps that work with collage artwork.  Not that we DO it all the time, but that throw the ink on the paper in a SEEMINGLY RANDOM nature just appeals to this Jack Russell Terrier.

So, what’s your favorite kind of stamping?

Really, collage stamping isn’t as random as you might think, but it surely is fun.  And just like anything else, the more you do it, the better you get at it.

I just keep passing Ann the stamps and tell her how much of each color to use and it seems to work.

Thank You Card

You might have missed these two stamp sets in the new Stampin’ Up! Catalog that was just released.  (Get yours here.)

This card was inspired by the Make & Take that Ann didn’t make on the Stampin’ Up! Mediterranean cruise.  Since we’re always stamping around here, she likes to devote attention to my favorite huMAN when they’re out of town together.

And today, she’s going down to Vacaville to stamp with a couple of our 24/7 Stampers and have some fun with them and other somewhat local demonstrators in our group.  And this is the card that she & I designed so that they can make it too.

Thank You CardThey call it a shoebox swap.  We bring enough for everyone to make our card and everyone else brings enough for everyone to make their card.

It’s a lot of ink, paper and laughter with old and new friends over 3 or 4 hours.  (Ann’s slow, but she can keep up.)

In fact, we’re thinking of having one at the house later this month.  That way people somewhat local can come and stamp with us and everyone that is farther away can participate by mailing their cards in.  Then everyone has lots of ideas to share with all of their friends!

And we share the best ones with you!

Did you know that we’re looking to add some stampers to our team?  No experience necessary!
