Count Your Blessings Part 2

In yesterday’s post, we shared a watercolor card that we used the Count Your Blessings stamp set and then we didn’t list the stamp set in the supplies!  What WERE we thinking!

Then yesterday, Ann spent a little time putting the Gratitude for Days Simply Created Kit together.  It’s not hard, but it does take some time and planning so you can create the best looking project.

That’s why we’re going to meet here at the house and make them this Saturday on Make a Difference Day.  We think that these are the best gifts for any family so that they can concentrate on the good things that are happening to them and not the daily grind.

You can see the sample on page 38 of the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Seasonal Catalog, but here’s an idea of it.

Kit

The Gratitude for Days Simply Created Kit includes all this:

  • 30 pockets and specially sized index cards to decorate and place inside the pockets.
You’ll get extra index cards “just in case”, but just 30 pockets.
  • 30 numbered stickers in varying coordinating colors and fonts to decorate the pockets
  • Basic Gray Thick Baker’s Twine to hang them from
  • 30 silver binder clips to hang them onto the twine

We’re going to send this to my favorite basketball and soccer player so that he can fill it up with his mom & dad.  What a perfect thing to make on Make a Difference Day because it will make a difference in their lives as they focus on the good stuff.  AND you can bring it out each year and add more thoughts as the years go by.

We need to know today if you want to come so that we can order your kit.  Just bring $5, your Sticky Strip Adhesive and a snack to share.  We’ll have the stamps here and ready to go.

If you want to make this on your own at home, this is what you’ll want to make sure to have on hand.  You could use Basic Gray instead of the Memento Ink, but that’s just what we used.
