What an exciting day!  Here are 3 things that you must do before the clock strikes 12 tonight.  After you see today's project, you can post what you'd like to add to the list in the comment section.

  1. If you're due to have a new pup any day – have it today & get a tax deduction!  We wouldn't want you to do anything unhealthy, but that would be cool to celebrate your birthday with the world every year.  New Year's babies get gifts, but no 2010 tax deduction.

KCRA news reported a pizza with salami, pepperoni, ham & mushrooms that may help the baby come quicker.  If that's not enough, you can always add sausage & extra onions to help speed the process.

  2. DONATE!  Pick your favorite charity & make some room in your house.  Places like the Goodwill just may be open later than usual so you may want to call.  But if you're planning on running a check down to your church, you may want to go early because the offices might not even be open today.  Still, it's worth a call.

Plus there are places like the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society that would probably appreciate your online donation.

  3. Renew & pick up all your prescriptions to use up all your Flex Spending Account money.  Why?  Because many plans run out tonight & over the counter medications may not be covered soon.

  4. There's actually  one more thing – stock up in the Clearance Section of our online store or perhaps get the Filled With Love Bundle.  Today is the LAST DAY that Ann is giving away free instructions to the Valentine Cards & Stationery Box that are shown in this post.

Now about that project – It seems like people don't write as many checks as they used to.  But if YOU do, then here's something cool you can do with your Big Shot Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder #120175 & some sponging.

Checkbook2011

Those are little Basic Pearls that we put on the front only so Ann could tell which end was up.  I think this little Crumb Cake, Rich Razzleberry & Basic Black number should open a few eyes, don't you think?

This picture was taken before we put it in the plastic checkbook cover.  The easiest place to get one is at any store that's selling those pocket calendars for about a buck.  Throw away the calendar unless you don't have a checkbook – then just use this little thing as a calendar cover!

I'm such a smart dog!  But I'd like to know what YOU think everyone should do before midnight so why not let us know here or on my Facebook page.

Happy New Year everyone!  I'm not the only one who watches a ball tonight!

it's a great time to be the blog dog of a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.
