Birds & the Bees & the …

A long ago before I was born there was a song that went "The birds & the bees & the flowers & the trees & the moon up above….& a thing called love."  As all you humans get ready for the "love season", it make a young pup like me think of the nice flowers that will come once all these rains are over with.

WhimsicalPunchFlower

This card uses Regal Rose, Certainly Celery, some sponge worthy Rose Red & a touch of Old Olive.  All the punch art is made with the new Stampin' Up! punch called Extra Large Two-Step Bird #117191.  Funny!  I don't see any birds on this card!  I think they're hiding!  The stamp is one that you can earn free with a $50 order as a Sale-A-Bration selection:  Whimsical Words #118386 (Wood) or #119119 (Clear).

Thanks to our Canadian friend, Jackie for the inspiration.  It was fun watching Ann punch & sponge.  She says it works best if you hold your mouth just right….

  2. Ann, this is such a great card! Love everything – color combo and the layout! I would never think of using the wing of the bird for petals! Thank you for sharing!

  3. What an adorable card!!!! Stamper, would love to hear you “woof” that song, I think you would do great!!

Wanted to let ya know that Rascal’s girl has been doing such a great job taking him for walks and throwing the ball, although I think Rascal enjoys throwing the van tennis shoe that his girl’s brother left behind one year before he joined the Air Force. Rascal gets some pretty good air..still wondering what else he has in him..getting taller by the day!!??

Hugs to you Stamper and tell Ann thanks so much for sharing her awesome talent!!!!
